Initialization Scripts

Initialization Scripts make the setup (and potentially the maintenance) of lbackup configuration directories easier. The initialization scripts are designed to provide a way to automate common backup configuration directory setup tasks.

• Disk Image Initialization Scripts
  • Initialize disk image pre and post hooks (add in post and pre hooks for mounting and un-mounting a disk image)

Assistance with the maintenance of the current and submission of additional initialization scripts to the lbackup project is required. The initialization sub-system within LBackup has the potential to make the setup of backups trivial. However, to make this a reality there is plenty of work required. If you have manually setup a backup and think you could write a script to automate that process then consider contributing to the lbackup project by submitting an initialization script so that others who need to setup a similar backup will be able to quickly setup their backup.
