LBackup configuration, automation and initialization is highly scriptable. One advantage of scriptable configuration is consistent configurations across multiple backup servers. In addition, you are able to script the addition of options, features, post actions and more.
Because LBackup uses directories for storage and access to configuration settings it is possible to use distributed versioning systems to update and deploy backup configurations on backup servers.
This page is still under development. The plan is to provide examples and screen casts about how you may script the initial setup and maintenance of multiple backups. If you are interested in contributing your scripts or having a screen cast hosted or listed then please consider contributing to the LBackup project.
Help is wanted on the development of scripting resources for the LBackup user community; contact us to get involved.
